The opportunity to evolve and recognise the skills and personal concerns which become central to their practice as students progress through the course and move into careers as independent artists/designers. This visit provides experience in working at jewellery and precious object making, aligning conceptual development with the learning of numerous traditional skills and processes associated with jewellery and metal-smithing. In addition, students are encouraged to be innovative with these skills and processes, expanding the traditional vocabulary and finding unique solutions to the problems posed by their creative ambitions. -- Course Website
